This course offers non-technical micro business owners essential, practical Cyber Fundamentals (CyFun) Small knowledge to proactively protect their business, data, and peace of mind, building a resilient digital future.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamental concept of cybersecurity and why it's critical for their specific business.
  • Identify common cyber threats and vulnerabilities relevant to small and medium enterprises.
  • Recognise the five core functions of the CyFun framework (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover) at a conceptual "Small" level.
  • Grasp the importance of data protection and basic security measures.
  • Develop a foundational awareness of best practices for securing their business's digital assets.
  • Feel confident in asking the right questions about cybersecurity to their staff, IT providers, or consultants.
  • Understand where to find reliable resources and support for ongoing cybersecurity efforts.
